Is there democracy in Russia and Kazakhstan?

In the current most “democratic” country of the USA, voters cannot even directly elect a president, only through intermediaries-electors. Suddenly they will vote the wrong way. Moreover, the opinion of voters is only a recommendation for the elector to vote, he may not follow it. Thus, the voices of ordinary Americans are a dummy. Just a cheap farce and brainwashing. In Russia and Kazakhstan, local election commissions are such intermediaries, no matter how you vote, they will calculate how you need to. In fact, this is an autocracy, the basis of which is based on the unlimited control of power by one person or by a council, like a one-party parliament or a presidential republic, whose decisions are not subject to external legal restrictions or orderly mechanisms of popular control (except for the possible hidden threat of a coup d'etat or popular uprising).
